Pacific Rim Hospice Society is a registered Canadian charity operating
since 1994.

Pacific Rim provides compassionate care, support and counselling for
individuals  across the lifespan and their families facing life-threatening
illness, injury, death and bereavement.  

The Pacific Rim Hospice Society serves the west coast of Vancouver Island,
covering a large geographic area- 349,947 hectares of land with
approximately 6,500 residents (Stats: Clayoquot Biosphere Trust) in five First
Nation’s territories covering seven different communities, two municipalities
and one regional district.
Three of the First Nation’s communities are accessible only via boat or seaplane.

Esowista - Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation

Hot Springs Cove- Hesquiaht First Nation
Ahousaht – Ahousaht First Nation
Area C – Alberni Clayoquot Regional District


​Pacific Rim Hospice Society is overseen by a board of directors - currently there are five board members who meet approximately every six weeks.
