" I will forever be grateful that you became part of my life this past year. Your knowledge and wisdom helped to give me strength and some clarity with what I was going through. How lucky am I to have a light like yours in my darkest days. " Jolene Wadja.

I suffered a monumental loss in late January of 2024, and I did not know where to turn. My friend gave me the number for the Pacific Rim Hospice Society, and I am sure glad that he did. They were quick to respond to my message and set up a meeting that fit my schedule. The weekly or biweekly sessions that I attend have proved to be imperative to my overall grief journey and the beginnings of healing. The Hospice approaches grief in a very kind, empathetic manner, free of judgment. It has allowed me a safe environment to share my story and has helped me to face my sorrow head-on. I will be forever grateful for that."

“I wanted to take a moment to thank your team for everything you do.  As a nurse at the Tofino Hospital I see first hand how your volunteers and staff make such a positive impact on the lives of our patients and community members.
It’s just so amazing to have all of you sharing so much love, energy and time with the folks who truly need it.
I can say first hand that even a short visit from a hospice worker to an inpatient not only brings a smile but an make their whole day and week.
Thank you so much.  It’s not just I that sees this, it’s so many of us. ”
